Hello UFC Enthusiasts,
As many of you may have noticed from our social media updates, we are FINALLY working on the next edition of UFC again — and slowly but surely, we are making progress. Of course, there are still some hurdles to overcome, but so far, so good… never give up.
Compared to previous UFC editions, the television industry has changed dramatically — and not for the better. In fact, things have become much more challenging. Years ago, getting in touch with a TV broadcaster like SBS6 was relatively easy. Today, those traditional entry points are almost completely closed off.
Everything now goes through SVOD representatives (SVOD = Streaming Video On Demand), who decide whether your program is suitable for their platform. Getting a meeting with such representatives is extremely difficult, and communication is usually limited to email only.
Fortunately, UFC still has access to these channels. We have something many others don’t: a proven international track record. That gives us credibility and opportunities. At this moment, two of the world’s largest SVOD platforms have already shown serious interest, meaning we have successfully overcome one of the biggest obstacles.
Meanwhile, we have moved on from inadequate TV producers and amateur streaming partners and have now connected with one of the largest television companies in the world. After reviewing our previous UFC editions, they immediately became enthusiastic about the concept.
As announced earlier, UFC is now producing independently, and through our new TV partner we have secured several highly professional executive production partners who are eager to get started.
Naturally, the next host country will surpass everything we have done before — because this is not called the Ultimate Challenge for nothing.
Prepare yourselves for challenges that are heavier, longer, bigger, deeper, colder, wetter, more intense, and even more fun than ever before.
A total of 16 brand-new challenges across 10 days will soon determine whether you truly have what it takes.
And NO — as always, the challenges will remain secret until one hour before each discipline begins.
A remarkable host country awaits, filled with breathtaking culture, spectacular nature, and unique environments.
And as we always say:
No — you cannot compare UFC to a survival run or any other one-day event.
UFC demands far more.
Here, you must think.
You must be strategic.
You must be inventive.
Any military training experience is recommended as The Marines are responsible for most Forces Challenges to perform.
And above all, you need exceptional physical conditioning
