With the Covid-19 pandemic loosen up slowly UFC is exploring possibilities to set up the Ultimate Fitness Challenge (women only) edition again. These very successful UFC series ended quite unexpectedly in 2007 into a dead stop because the main sponsor pulled out last minute. The destructive financial bank recession made its entrance at the same time, killing definitely all restart options and leaving UFC, the contestants and crew in the dark.
With the great memories of these unique UFC series, we can’t ignore the quick recovering economy at this point offering new possibilities with new partners and sponsors. As complex, puzzled and upsetting our last UFC Bali were, just as easy and smooth were our UFC Curacao series as we recall. Now having our own global Online SVOD (Streaming Video On Demand) channel, we are no longer depending on local broadcast companies to stream our own UFC series online worldwide. As we already announced, UFC is not going to work with production companies anymore, UFC has chosen to be responsible for its own events and productions without the mess of questionable amateurs.
To make thing easy and affordable we stay close to home this edition, there are beautiful mountains and epic landscapes within short traveling distance. Our main goal will be a new Ladies Only Ultimate Fitness Challenge as we did in the past. Of course, the preparations of the Ultimate Forces Challenge for country teams will continue as we already started, recent being informed the borders of Canada will soon be open up again, so stay tuned.
This next Ultimate Fitness Challenge will be, of course, in Dutch as a Benelux production and will be (subtitles) translated to multiple languages later on. This UFC will only be accessible for ladies from Belgium, Luxemburg and the Netherlands. This UFC revival will be broadcasted on our own SVOD channel for everybody to watch online. We will discuss broadcast possibilities with RTL as we did in the past very successfully to broadcast on linear TV for this first revival edition if its affordable.
