Dear friends,
We have been rowing secretly for several weeks.
Our goal: To participate in the TWAC (Talisker Whiskey Atlantic Challenge) in December 2023. This is a 5000 km rowing race across the Atlantic Ocean from La Gomera (Canaries Islands) to Antigua (Caribbean Islands). We have linked a charity to our trip. We will tell more about that later.
We cannot do this alone and we have now found a fantastic team willing to help us with this. Our team members will introduce themselves to you at a later date. As well as the sponsors who have already committed themselves to our project.
One of our sponsors BS Connect is busy building our website. This will be launched later. For now, we really like it if you follow our project via this page. We will inform you about the progress.
Our first challenge is already on the program this Saturday, July 3rd. We are participating in the Rotterdam Rond Roeimarathon. This is a 54 km trip over the Nieuwe Maas, the Rotte, and the Hollandsche IJssel. A report of this follows on this the Facebook page.
